On August 26, a delegation of journalists from the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led by Mr. Chrim Chheng Lim, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia, visited and worked with Quang Ninh Media Group (QMG). Attending and working with the delegation from Quang Ninh Province were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thien, Deputy Director of QMG.
Speaking at the meeting, leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism expressed his pleasure at welcoming the delegation of journalists from the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia to visit and work in Quang Ninh. He also emphasized that this is an important opportunity for both sides to exchange ideas, enhance mutual understanding and strengthen friendly solidarity.
Leader of QMG gave the delegation an overview of the formation, development, organizational structure, and outstanding achievements in information and communication activities of QMG.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Chrim Chheng Lim, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia, expressed gratitude for the thoughtful reception from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and QMG.
The two sides agreed to maintain regular exchanges and cooperation in external communications; strengthen efforts to promote the image, culture, and people of the two countries; and enhance the sharing of experiences in digital transformation in journalism.
The delegation also toured the headquarters of QMG and learned about its newsroom model and operations, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences in organizing journalistic activities in the context of digital transformation.
