A safe Quang Ninh ready to welcome visitors

Having put the Covid-19 pademic under control, Quang Ninh has reopened domestic travel and a range of social and cultural activities. The province will be also ready to great tourists from other provinces and cities when the pademic is brought under good control nationwide.

The number of visitors to destinations in the province has gradually increased by 20-30 percent since the decision on reopening domestic travel was imposed. A lot of tourist companies and accommodation establishments have currently offered various promotional programs.

The five-star hotel of Muong Thanh Luxury Ha Long Center has reduced up to 70% at only VND 499,000/guest/ night or VND 850,000/guest/2 nights, accompanied by the hotel's high-class services. The entertainment complex of Sunworld Ha Long has launched a stimulus program which offers the preferential price of only VND 200,000/ticket to the Queen Cable Car or the Water Park from June 12-30 instead of VND 250,000-350,000/ticket as normal.

Tourist sites have also worked closely with travel agencies to introduce attractive tour packages. “We have cooperated with many promotional businesses such as Booking.com, Agoda.com, Ivivu.com, etc. to promote a variety of packages, meeting tourists’ diverse demands for travel. To be specific, apart from reducing accommodation prices, we have set up short and exciting programs such as "Discovering the land of heritage" with the competitive price of VND 399,000/person; or the package of 2 days and 1 night worth from VND 835,000 to VND 1,205,000 so that visitors can have more choices during the time visiting Yen Tu and staying at Legacy Yen Tu Resort.”, said Mr. Le Trong Thanh, Deputy General Director of Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company.

Moreover, some tourist companies have also accompanied travel services with Covid-19 testing ones to ensure safety for tourists and the community.

In preparation for welcoming visitors from other localities across the country when circumstances allow, the Department of Tourism has worked with several provinces and cities, the adjacent city of Hai Phong for instance, to make ready plans in the coming time.
