A Quang Ninh athlete participates in the 2021 Asian Championships Archery Tournament

Archery athlete Chau Kieu Oanh (Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center) is participating in the 2021 Asian Championships in Archery in Bangladesh, said the Department of Culture and Sports.

The Asian Archery Championships 2021 is taking place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from November 14 to 19. The event attracts 131 athletes from 17 countries and territories to compete in 10 sets of medals.

This tournament is famous for its professional quality which might not inferior to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics due to the gatherings of many strong delegations around the world, such as Korea, Taiwan (China), Japan, China, India, etc.

Chau Kieu Oanh is expected to participate in individual and women team competitions with 3-string bows. Previously, Chau Kieu Oanh underwent various training sessions with the National Archery Team at the National Sports Training Center in Da Nang.

The 2021 Asian Championship archery tournament is an opportunity for Chau Kieu Oanh as well as Vietnamese athletes to compete and achieve experience to prepare for the 3st SEA Games and upcoming major tournaments.
