70 OCOP products of Quang Ninh displayed at CAEXPO 2024
The 21st China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is taking place in Nanning city, China’s Guangxi province from September 24-28. Vietnam's delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc highlights Vietnam's growing efforts to penetrate deeper into the Chinese and ASEAN markets.
On behalf of Quang Ninh leaders, Mr. Vu Van Dien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee attended the event.
Around 120 Vietnamese businesses are operating nearly 200 booths there, displaying farm produce, processed foods, footwear, household items, textiles, furniture, and handicrafts. Quang Ninh also introduced 70 OCOP products.
Covering 122,000sq.m. both indoor and outdoor, the expo features six main zones, namely a zone for displaying products of ASEAN countries and China, an exhibition zone for their outstanding cities, a zone for investment cooperation exhibition, and the other three for showing agricultural cooperation, new technologies, and trade services.
Besides, more than 100 investment and trade promotion events, along with conferences and workshops of the 10 ASEAN countries and others will also be held.
The expo, which marks the 20th anniversary of both the China-ASEAN strategic partnership and CAEXPO, will also re-activate the ASEAN economic ministers’ forum.
