61 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Quang Ninh on Wednesday

A total of 61 new cases of COVID-19 were reported and 49 patients recovered on December 15.

Quang Ninh authorities announced the confirmation of 61 new Covid-19 patients residing in Ha Long city, Dong Trieu town, Quang Yen town, Cam Pha city, and Uong Bi city in the evening of December 15.

Thousands of people are now in concentrated quarantine areas and self-isolate at home and other accommodations in accordance with Ministry of Health’s directions.

431 F0s have been under treatment at hospitals and health clinics in the province and 38 cases are treated at home.

49 patients recovered on December 15.

On Dec. 15, the province implemented the widespread Covid-19 testing for 19, 930 people at risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially those related to Covid-19 cases detected at these areas. Of which, 10, 686 ones undertook rapid antigen tests and 9,244 took PCR tests.
