44th Bach Dang Traditional Swimming Competition to kickstart on July 20

124 athletes are going to participate in the 44th Bach Dang Traditional Swimming Competition in Dong Trieu town on July 20.

As one of the biggest sports competitions in the province, Bach Dang Traditional Swimming Competition is scheduled to start at 6am on the bank of Cam rive in Dong Trieu town.

This annual compeition is jointly held by the Department of Sports and Culture and the People’s Committee of Dong Trieu town.

This year's swimming competion attracts the participation of 124 athletes from 27 units of 5 localities including Quang Yen Town, Uong Bi City, Mong Cai City, Ha Long City and Dong Trieu Town.

They will compete in 4 catagories: 1-km swimming for young women, 2-km swimming for young men, 2-km swimming for female leads and 3-km swimming for male leads.
