315 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Quang Ninh

A total of 315 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Quang Ninh on Jan.9, in which, 296 cases were detected within the community.

Quang Ninh authorities announced the confirmation of 315 new Covid-19 patients residing in Dam Ha (1 case), Mong Cai (4 cases), Ha Long (38 cases), Dong Trieu (40 cases), Uong Bi (48 cases), Cam Pha (89 cases), and Quang Yen (95 cases) in the evening of October 1.

The localities of Quang Yen, Uong Bi and Dong Trieu recorded a high number of cases in the community, most of them are related to Hai Phong VSIP Industrial Park, coal companies. The epidemic tends to spreading to children leaning at various schools, especially primary and secondary ones in Cam Pha, Ha Long.

The authorities encourages people to proactively undertake  quick tests to early detect any positive case if they have complicated travel schedules or have unusual symptoms.

Local people should consider using Covid-19 high-risk services and activities such as weddings, parties, pubs, funerals, etc.

They are supposed to strictly follow defined regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control, make medical declarations and carry out all necessary vaccinations.
