16 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Quang Ninh

On Nov. 15, Quang Ninh province confirmed 16 new Covid-19 cases in Ha Long city, Dong Trieu town and Hai Ha district.

Those who self-isolate at home receive regular health check-up given by medical workers.

The new F0 in Ha Long city lives at Ha Khanh ward and works at Hon Gai Coal Selection Company. This patient was found to be positive for Covid-19 through the company’s monthly testing.

7 F0s recorded in Hai Ha district yesterday are workers at Hai Ha Texhong Industrial Zone.

Dong Trieu town confirmed 8 new cases including 6 ones in Mao Khe ward related to F0s recorded on November 13-14, one case in Dong Trieu ward related to the F0 recorded on November 14, and one case in Yen Tho ward related the F0 detected on November 14.

Functional forces have been implemeting drastic measures to halt the transmission of Covid-19 in several clusters in Dong Trieu, Uong Bi, Hai Ha, Dam Ha, Mong Cai and Ha Long. Massive Covid-19 testing have been carried out for over 11,000 people at risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially those related to Covid-19 cases detected at these clusters.

More than 2,000 people are now in concentrated quarantine areas and self-isolate at home and other accommodations in accordance with Ministry of Health’s directions. 236 F0s have been under treatment at hospitals and health clinics in the province.

As reported, as many as 935, 853 have receive two shots of Covid-19 vaccine and 161, 516 one has been given the first jab.
