Vietnam Motor Show 2024 to feature green energy initiatives

The upcoming Vietnam Motor Show 2024 will not only showcase the latest automotive products but also host a seminar titled 'Electrifying Transportation Towards Green Energy Transition', the show's organisers announced at a press conference in HCM City on Thursday.
The show will take place from October 23 to 27 in HCM City.
According to the organisers, the seminar will focus on two main topics: 'Proper Use of Euro 5 Fuel' and 'Electrified Vehicles: Hybrid Technology'. Experts will offer diverse perspectives on trends and the potential development of electric vehicle models. They will also share solutions for green and clean energy to reduce emissions, aiming to promote sustainable growth in the automotive industry. This seminar is one of the key highlights of this year's Vietnam Motor Show.
Organised by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Vehicle Importers Vietnam Association (VIVA), and the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM), the exhibition will feature 19 renowned automobile and motorcycle brands, along with over 50 supporting industry brands. Notable participants include GAC, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Honda, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, MG, BYD, GAZ, SYM, Yamaha Motor, UM, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, KTM and Husqvarna.
Each brand will display outstanding models equipped with modern technology, particularly the latest electric and hybrid vehicles. Another prominent feature of the Vietnam Motor Show 2024 is the change in the way attendees interact with the exhibition space. Visitors interested in models from the showcased brands can participate in test-driving activities.
Chairman of VAMA Nakano Keita stated that Việt Nam's automotive industry is currently experiencing robust development with a lot of potential, especially due to the shift towards electric and hybrid vehicles. At Vietnam Motor Show 2024, attendees will witness a range of models from fuel-efficient cars to versatile vehicles, offering diverse pricing to meet consumer demands in the current economic context.
Đỗ Xuân Quân, sales director of GAC Motor Việt Nam, a brand owned by Guangzhou Automobile Group, China, shared that by participating in the Vietnam Motor Show 2024, the brand aims to introduce itself to the Vietnamese market and seize opportunities to reach consumers through its technological strengths. Currently, Vietnamese consumer trends are changing significantly, with a demand for more versatile and convenient products.
