Winning the 2nd prize at the 5th Quang Ninh Youth and Children’s Creative Contest, the two students, including Giap Thu Thao and Tang Xuan Ha in class 10A3, Binh Lieu High school, Binh Lieu District, are highly appreciated with their work "Bình Lieu tourist map” thanks to the creativity and practical meaning.
The Binh Lieu tourist map is made with the purpose of contributing to introduce Binh Lieu’s tourism image to a greater number of visitors – Student Giap Thu Thao said.
Binh Lieu is bestowed with beautiful natural landscape, fragrant star-anise, cinnamon and so forests, majestic terraced fields at Song Mooc, Cao Thang villages,... In addition, the stunning natural beauty, the peaceful and simple life bearing cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities makes differences create great potential and strengths for tourism developmentHowever, beautiful landscapes and tourist spots are quite far and unknown to many people. As a result, the two students made a plan to implement the project entitled “Binh Lieu tourist map”, thus providing tourists with an overview of famous tourist attractions of Binh Lieu.
The map includes 2 sides, the first side depicts the current status of Binh Lieu tourism with well-known tourist sites, basic information about Binh Lieu and Binh Lieu tourism, routes and seasonal travel information, meanwhile the remaining side printed a map of Binh Lieu District with main roads, some locations of restaurants, motels, pharmacies, gas station, market, grocery stores, ATM machines, etc with eye-catching design, useful information. Visiting Binh Lieu District, tourists can check information about locations and itinerary on the map and choose the appropriate route.
Currently, the Binh Lieu tourist map has been provided at some hotels, restaurants and community attractions in the district.
