After stopping social distancing amid Covid-19 prevention and control, Mong Cai city and tourism service businesses have undertaken stimulus programs to attract more visitors, and kick off Tra Co National Tourism Site in Mong Cai city.
Since late May, 2020 until now, a series of activities such as Tra Co Kite Flying Festival, Beach Football and Tra Co Golf for friendship etc have been taken place at Tra Co beach, attracting a great number of locals and tourists.
Currently, a series of tourism service enterprises have registered to participate in the city’s tourism demand stimulus campaigns by reducing costs and offering abundant tourism services to lure visitors.
Along with directing measures to improve the quality of tourism in line with Covid-19 prevention and control, Mong Cai city has also developed new tourism products such as putting the new cuisine street in Tran Phu ward into operation; contributing ideas to build Po Hen hamlet, Hai Son commune, Mong Cai city in Quang Ninh province’s community-based tourism development project; hiring consultants to implement an investment project on constructing Sa Vi flag pole, Lac Long Quan Temple and the symbol of Mother Au Co; enhancing tourism advertisement and completing the dossier submitted to the province for recognizing Tra Co beach meeting tourist beach standards
According to Mong Cai City’s Chairman, Nguyen Tien Dung, these above-mentioned tourism stimulus packages received active responses from enterprise community. In the coming time, the city will coordinate with enterprises to develop more tourism products, including investment attraction in night tourism, forming a stimulus tourism product chain to bring visitors great experiences in Mong Cai city. Futhermore, the tourism popularization activities have been paid special attention, introducing Mong Cai as a worth-living place – a safe, friendly and appealing destination for visitors.
