Within the framework of the East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum (EATOF) themed “Connecting for the promotion of Green tourism development” on August 27th, the 19 EATOF standing committee meeting took place in Ha Long City.
The meeting agreed on cooperative contents and a common plan among EATOF member provinces which then will be submitted to the 17th EATOF general assembly in Quang Ninh in 2020. The contents focus on joining hands to promote tourism, exchanges, trainings, human resource development and share development experiences.
Earlier, the EATOF member provinces had discussed green and sustainable tourism development, clarified responsibility of members in future, concentrated on connectivity to boost green tourism, solutions to sustainable growth and dilemma of green tourism at emerging economies.
