San Co Singing Club opens in Dam Ha
Dam Ha district has just organized a ceremony to launch the singing club of San Co - a kind of folk songs which has long been preserved by minor ethnic people in this area.
The San Co Singing Club in Quang An Commune has 15 members. It aims to create favorable conditions for ethnic minorities at the commune and other communes nearby to maintain, preserve and develop the unique traditional cultural beauty of these age-old songs.
Located in the center of the eastern region of Quang Ninh province, Dam Ha district is bestowed with sea, forests and abundant natural and cultural tourism resouces, capable of developing many types of tourism.
The district is well-known for beautiful landscapes such as Bach Van waterfall, the historical and scenic site of Hua Mountain, Dam Ha Dong reservoir, Da Dung island, Cuong mountain, etc. Many cultural activities like Dam Ha Communal House Festival, San Co Singing, Then Singing, dual love song singing,etc. have been preserved and promoted.
