On August 28, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy had a courtesy meeting with the delegation of the Police Delegation from Sainyabuli province (Laos) led by Colonel Kham Pheng Phet, Member of the Standing Provincial Party's Committee, Director of the Police Department of Sainyabuli Province, on the occasion of their working visit to Quang Ninh.
Receiving the delegation, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy introduced to the delegation a snapshot covering Quang Ninh's socio-economic development as well as the social security and safety of the province.
She hoped that the two sides' police forces would continue to strengthen the close relationship and cooperation tie in order to well perform their tasks of ensuring the social security in both sides.
Colonel Kham Pheng Phiet, in turn, highly appreciated Quang Ninh's strong growth and he wished that the cooperation between the police forces of the two provinces would be more effectively promoted, contributing to the development of the Sainyabuli and Quang Ninh provinces and tightening the solidarity between Laos and Vietnam.
