In the framework of a working visit in Singapore, on July 17, Quang Ninh's delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Thi Hoang has visited and worked with the Ambassador of Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, Mr. Tran Hai Hau.
At the reception, Mrs Do Thi Hoang has made a brief introduction of the situation of socio-economic development, as well as Quang Ninh province's points of view in transforming the growth model and its plan to send the provincial officials to overseas for training, including Singapore.
For his part, Mr. Tran Hai Hau highly appreciated Quang Ninh’s development orientation and its plan to send officials to overseas for training. He also provided the delegation with significant information related to the Vietnam-Singapore tie in recent years; issues in which the delegation should have attention to and the examples that the province need to learn from Singapore.
The Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee wished that Vietnam Embassy in Singapore will continuously support Quang Ninh's citizens and students who are working and living in Singapore. She also hopes that the Ambassador will assist Quang Ninh in approaching good experiences of the Singapore in public management, public investment, resources attraction, urban management and tourism development, especially attracting more foreign investors to Quang Ninh.
