Quang Ninh resumes regular ticket prices at tourist attractions from July 1,2022
From July 1, Quang Ninh will resume regular ticket prices at tourist attraction such as Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum, and the Complex of Yen Tu Monuments and Landscape, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.
The 6th session of the provincial People’s Council held in late 2021 agreed to launch a tourism stimulus programme for some attractions during the period of January 1 and June 30, 2022 to give the tourism sector a boost after Covid-19. Notablly, prices of entrance tickets for tourist attractions including Ha Long Bay, the Quang Ninh Museum and the Complex of Yen Tu Monuments and Landscape were reduced by 50 percent.
After the expiration of the 50% reduction in ticket prices in accordance with the province’s stimulus policy, from July 1, 2022, the ticket price on Ha Long Bay will be 250,000 VND per person for Route 1, 2 and 5, and 200,000 VND per person for Route 3 and 4. For visitors staying overnight on the Bay, the ticket price ranges from 500,000 to 750,000 VND per person.
At Quang Ninh Museum, the entrance fee for adults is 40,000 VND per person; students, and trainees, 20,000 VND per person; children, 10,000 VND per person. Entry is free for children less than 1.2m high.
For the Complex of Yen Tu Monuments and Landscape, the ticket price for adults is 40,000 VND per person; children, 20,000 VND per person.
It can be seen that Quang Ninh’s tourism stimulus policies have effectively worked. Since the country’s official tourism reopening on March 15, the number of tourists to the tourist attractions has continuously increased. Ha Long Bay welcomes 30,000-40,000 arrivals on weekends and 8,000-10,000 arrivals on weekdays. Yen Tu often greets about 1,000-1,200 arrivals and Quang Ninh Museum welcomes about 7,000-10,000 arrivals on weekends.
It is estimated that the number of tourist arrivals to Quang Ninh can reach 1 million per month during summer.
