On the afternoon of Aug 21, Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh People’s Committee, Vu Thi Thu Thuy, gave a courtesy reception to a delegation from the Lao Front for National Construction ( LFNC) Central Committee, led by LFNC Vice President Som Ock Kingsada during his working visit in Vietnam.
Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy affirmed that Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh in particular have a close and friendly relationship with the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Every year, Quang Ninh Province and Lao provinces have many exchange visits and voluntary programs, contributing to strengthening the friendship of the two countries. Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy introduced the degation about Quang Ninh’s potential, strenghs and great achievements in socio-economic development in recent years.
For his part, LFNC Vice President Som Ock Kingsada thanked Quang Ninh leaders for the warm welcome and expressed his impression on Quang Ninh’s remarkable changes and strong growth over the years. The LFNC Vice President asserted that this visit would be a good opportunity for them to learn more about Quang Ninh’s people and land and exchange experiences in the front and religion – related issues.
