Quang Ninh Media Group strengthens ties with Guangxi Radio and Television Station
The Quang Ninh Media Group hosted a working meeting with a delegation from Guangxi Radio and Television Station (China) to review the results of recent media collaboration and chart a course for deeper cooperation in the future.
During the session, the two sides reflected on the effectiveness of their long-standing partnership, which has been guided by a formal cooperation agreement. Key areas of collaboration include weekly news exchanges featured on their respective digital news platforms, co-production efforts on Radio Channel 2, and the joint publication of the Lotus special edition magazine. Journalistic exchanges, such as sending reporters to cover major local events and facilitating interviews, have also become a hallmark of the partnership. These joint initiatives have not only attracted public attention but have also received strong endorsements from local leadership on both sides.

The meeting also served as a forum for sharing updates on each organization’s efforts to streamline operations and improve the overall quality of press and media services in the face of evolving industry demands.
In line with media modernization trends, representatives from both sides held in-depth discussions on incorporating technology and artificial intelligence into their collaborative projects. In particular, they explored innovative ways to enhance the Lotus publication and proposed the development of new, tech-forward media products focused on culture, cuisine, and tourism. These efforts aim to attract a broader audience and refresh the publication's appeal.
Participants also exchanged ideas on improving the quality of radio content shared through the Quảng Ninh Province Media Center’s broadcast platform. Emphasis was placed on expanding training exchanges and capacity building, especially in AI-driven journalism and digital transformation.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen The Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Quảng Ninh Province Media Center, and Ms. Trinh Quy, Deputy Editor-in-Chief and head of the Guangxi delegation, agreed that 2025 will be a landmark year. Marking the 75th anniversary of Vietnam–China diplomatic relations and designated as the Year of Vietnam–China People-to-People Exchanges, it presents a meaningful opportunity to deepen cross-border cooperation.
In order to celebrate this milestone, both sides pledged to strengthen their joint media efforts, promote the long-standing friendship between Quang Ninh and Guangxi, and contribute to fostering greater understanding and goodwill between the people of Vietnam and China. The partnership is also expected to boost cross-border economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges in the years to come.
