Quang Ninh lured hundred thousands of tourists last weekend

With the summer holiday peaking, attractions in Quang Ninh greeted a variety of tourists during weekends.

Attractions across the province welcomed about 80,000 visitor arrivals last Saturday only. Many resorts and hotels of 4-5 stars had no vacancy.

Tourists mainly visit some renowned attractions such as Ha Long Bay (24,000 tourist arrivals), Quang Ninh Museum (over 8,500), Sunworld Ha long Entertainment Park (over 20,000 tourist arrivals), the Complex of Yen Tu Monuments and Landscapes (3,000 tourist arrivals), etc.

Beside such tourist hotspots, some localities endowed with natural advantages for sea and island tourism such as Co To and Van Don saw a remarkable increase in the number of tourists.

Several tourism products newly put into operation have currently yielded encouraging results, creating a driving force for development in the coming time. In 2022, Quang Ninh's tourism industry strives to lure a total tourist arrivals of over 9.5 million, including over 1.4 million foreign ones.

The total revenue from tourism activities is projected to reach about VND 19,000 billion and the budget revenue from tourism activities is estimated to be over VND 1,700 billion.
