On Sept.10, Quang Ninh organized 5th Patriotic Emulation Congress (2020-2025).
Prominent among those attending the event were Minister of Home Affairs, the Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee, cum chairman of People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, Quang Ninh’s Deputy Secretary, Ngo Hoang Ngan, Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang. It was also attended by heroic mothers, heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, former provincial leaders, typical examples in different fields of work and life.
Outstanding emulation movements in Quang Ninh can be noted as “Quang Ninh – joining hands to build new rural areas”, “Bringing disadvantaged hamlets and communes out of extreme difficult list and completing Program 135’s target”, “ Good propaganda”, “Public servants practice office culture”, “Good businesses”, “Excellent entrepreneurs”, “Typical workers”, “Good farmers”… Achievements in these movements are corner stones for Quang Ninh’s fast but sustainable development in the future.
At the congress, Quang Ninh’s Chairman launched provincial emulation movement in the next period 2020-2025.
Also on this occasion, 13 individuals were chosen to take part in 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
