The international workshop entitled “Preserving and promoting the value of world natural heritage Ha Long Bay - new vision” will be held in Quang Ninh in July 23-25.
Jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture Sports and Tourism and the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee, the workshop is expected to attract the participation of 150 tourism professionals and delegates from related ministries, agencies, provinces, cities nationwide, domestic and international organizations.
As scheduled, the workshop will include content such as: Defining the role and position of Ha Long Bay in the new context; appreciate the current state of Ha Long tourism development, opportunities and challenges, set requirements for Ha Long Bay in the new situation; proposed solutions for planning, management, conservation, investment, product development, tourism organization, management and environmental quality in the coming period; framework to discuss and make action plans for tourism development of Ha Long.
The workshop is a prerequisite to create breakthrough solutions to conserve,promote and honor the values of Ha Long Bay for sustainable tourism development./.
