On Sept.13, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee, cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, Standing Deputy Secretary, Ngo Hoang Ngan, provincial Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang, and other leaders of relevant departments and localities attended the plaque attaching ceremony for the road from Van Don International Airport to Van Don High-end Entertainment and Resort Complex in Van Don Economic Zone.
The road, 15km long, starts at Van Don International Airport and ends at Van Don International Airport to Van Don High-end Entertainment and Resort Complex. It meets road standards level 3 with designed speed of 80km/h. With total investment of more than 1.4 trillion VND, the road construction started in 2017 and finished in 2020.
Along with Ha Long – Van Don Highway, Van Don International Airport, Van Don – Mong Cai Highway, the completion of the road connecting Van Don International Airport and Van Don High-end Entertainment and Resort Complex will greatly contribute to finishing infrastructure as planned, meeting development requirements of Van Don Economic Zone and the region.
