Over 15,000 students sit for high school graduation exam

More than 15,000 students across the province did the literature tests (in three hours), the first exam of the 2022’s high school graduation exam this morning.

Quang Ninh has 15,717 candidates registered for the high school graduation exam. The province organized an exam board managing 37 test sites and 689 exam rooms.

The provincial Department of Education and Training has coordinated with relevant departments, branches, units and localities to mobilize over 3,000 people to join the examination staff in line with all regulations and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

School buses took students to the test site of Tien Yen High School.

The high school graduation exam is held nationwide within 2 days from July 7. The organisation of this year’s exam is the same as in recent years with three independent tests in Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Languages and two combined tests of Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Sciences (History, Geography, and Citizen Education). The exam will focus on subjects learnt in the twelfth grade. Only the literature test will be conducted as an essay exam. Other tests will be taken under a multi-choice format.
