Over 1,200 cruise passengers visit Quang Ninh
On July 23, the cruise ship Star Voyager arrived at Ha Long International Cruise Port, bringing more than 1,200 tourists from Hong Kong. This marks the sixth cruise arrival in Quang Ninh since early June, with Star Voyager accounting for two of those visits.

The ship is expected to return to the province around 10 times throughout the year.
During their time in Quang Ninh, visitors will explore several popular destinations in Bai Chay, Ha Long, and Hong Gai, including dining on floating restaurants in Ha Long Bay, visiting the Quang Ninh Museum, shopping at Ha Long market No. 1, exploring spiritual landmarks, and experiencing the Queen cable car. The ship is scheduled to depart later the same evening.
In order to offer passengers captivating experience, especially during the busy summer travel season, Quang Ninh has made thorough preparations, including port facilities, streamlined immigration procedures, and ready access to key tourist attractions.

While the peak season for cruise tourism typically runs from September through April, Quang Ninh has seen a steady stream of cruise ships this summer, underscoring its growing appeal as a year-round destination. This trend is paving the way for Quang Ninh to emerge as a leading hub for cruise tourism in Vietnam and across the region.
Since the beginning of the year, the province has welcomed nearly 40 cruise ships carrying close to 50,000 passengers, an increase of 25% over the same period last year. Tourists have come from key markets such as the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, and China. Notably, the number of summer cruise arrivals in 2024 is projected to be 1.5 times higher than last year.
By continuing to leverage its unique tourism assets, Quang Ninh is well-positioned to attract even more international cruise visitors and achieve its goal of welcoming 4.5 million international tourists in 2024.
