On Mar. 28, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Vietnam Maritime Construction Investment Consultancy Joint Stock Company jointly held a training course on improving skills to response oil spill incidents.
The course was attended by 200 learners coming from oil exploiting and transporting companies. The purpose of this training course is to provide the learners with knowledge, skills and measures to prevent and quickly response the oil spill incidents.
In addition, participants were also equiped with laws and regulations on relevant issues as well as technical measures to clean up oil-contaminated areas and the ways in which environmental pollution could be treated when the oil spill happens.
They also had chance to practise collecting oil slick and oil from the spill in cases of strong flows and big waves.
