According to statistics of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, in the first ten months, international tourist arrivals to Vietnam achieved 4.8 million, up 15.8% over the same period last year.
Of which, visiting relative tourists increased 71.9% over the same period of 2011; holiday makers attained 11.9%, while the business tourists reduced 4.7%; and other types of tourists rose 19.3% in comparison with the same period last year.
Also in the first ten months of 2011, almost of tourist markets increased. In which, China continues to be the leading one with more than 1.1 million arrivals.The next ones are Korea, Japan, America, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, France and Thailand...
The only case is that Thai tourist arrivals reduced 20.7% compared to the same period of 2010 due to natural disasters in Thailand last month.
There are only 2 months left for Vietnam tourism to achieve its goal of receiving 5.5 million international tourist arrivals in 2011.
