Intangible cultural heritages gather in the ancestral land
Various people and tourists from all over the world, have been witnessing and enjoying 15 representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity, at the Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival at Hung Kings Square in Viet Tri City, the ancestral province of Phu Tho.
This was one of the meaningful activities to honour and promote the values of typical intangible cultural heritages of the country, thereby raising public awareness and responsibility of preserving and promoting the heritages.
Many special performances were performed by artisans, artists, actors and actresses from 13 provinces and cities, possessing intangible cultural heritages of humanity, such as Hue Royal Court Music, Ca tru (ceremonial singing), Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space, Quan Ho (Love duet) singing, Xoan singing, Don ca tai tu (traditional musical art form of the south), the worship of Mother Goddesses of the Three Realms and Bai choi singing.
Each heritage is a spiritual product with great historical, cultural and scientific values, expressing the identity of the community, which has been constantly promoted and handed down from generation to generation.
In addition to the performances, the documents, artefacts and photos related to the heritages will be displayed at Hung Kings Square. Audiences will have the chance to exchange with artisans and perform cultural heritages.
