Ha Long – Cam Pha coastal ring road construction started

On August 22, a ceremony was solemnly organized at Ha Phong Ward, Ha Long City to start construction of a coastal ring road connecting Ha Long City and Cam Pha City.

The project is invested by the province’s budget with the total capital of over 1,300 bil.VND. The road is designed following standards of the type III delta road, so it will have 4 lanes, speed limit of 60km/h, total length of 18.7 km and width of 18 meters.

The road runs from Tran Quoc Nghien Coastal Road, Ha Long City to Km6 Port at Quang Hanh Ward, Cam Pha City. The Ha Long – Cam Pha coastal ring road is considered as a typical model of saving state budget, plays a vital role in the transportation development of the province toward 2020 with vision to 2030, contributing to meeting inter-regional travel demand and completing the comprehensive traffic infrastructure system.
