Fifteen Vietnamese universities listed in QS Asia University Rankings 2024
Fifteen Vietnamese education facilities have been named in the QS Asia University Rankings 2024 released by the UK-based education organization Quacquarelli Symonds on November 8.
The highest ranking went to Viet Nam National University-Ha Noi, at 187th place.
Other 14 establishments are: Duy Tan University, Ton Duc Thang University, Viet Nam National University-Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Hue University, Ha Noi University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Da Nang University, University of Transport and Communications, Van Lang University, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi National University of Education.
This edition stands as the largest one to date, featuring a whopping 856 institutions hailing from 25 different countries and territories.
The 11 indicators used to compile the QS Asia University Rankings encompass: Academic reputation, Employer reputation, Faculty/ student ratio, International research network, Citations per paper and papers per faculty, Staff with a PhD, Proportion of international faculty, and proportion of international students and Proportion of inbound exchange students and proportion of outbound exchange students.
The 2024 rankings highlighted the significant growth in the number of institutions featured, with 148 of them making their debut appearance.
Peking University secured the top spot for the second consecutive year, while the University of Hong Kong climbed to second place. The National University of Singapore (NUS) wrapped up the top three.
