Export-import turnover through Mong Cai reaches 1.7 billion USD
The export-import turnover through the Mong Cai Border Gate in Mong Cai has reached more than 2.8 billion USD since the beginning of this year.
According to the Mong Cai Customs Bureau, imports were estimated at 656.75 million USD while exports were 1.08 billion USD.
As many as 34,097 container trucks carrying 514,817 tons of goods were allowed to run through the border gate of Bac Luan Bridge No. 2, representing a 41 percent increase year on year . Of which, there were 140,982 tons of exported goods and 373,835 tons of imported ones.
At the open trail of Km3+4 Hai Yen temporary floating bridge, more than 13,708 thousand trucks of seafood, fruit, tapioca and others were exported to China.
During the January-June period, Mong Cai customs cleared 528,525 vehicles with 732.968 tonnes of goods through the border gate.
The Mong Cai Customs Bureau is working on digital transformation measures to facilitate export-import activities and enhance support for enterprises.
