Dam Ha district highlights Dao ethnic culture
The program named “Returing the San Co region of Dao people” was launched on july 30 in the area of Bach Van waterfall in Dam Ha district’s Quang An commune.
A series of intersting performances included Dao people’s San Co singing, San Chi people’s Soong Co singing, etc.
Visitors also participated in stall dancing, sang San Co and Soong Co songs with local people, enjoyed local cuisine, bought ethnic costumes, experienced bathing in streams, and took check-in photos at many beautiful scenes of Quang An commune such as Bach Van waterfall, Love waterfall, etc.
At the program, leaders of Quang An commune announced the decision on establishing a club for sewing and embroidering Dao ethnic costumes in Quang An commune.
Located in the eastern part of Quang Ninh province, Dam Ha is a mountainous and remote district with over 30% of population being ethnic minority people.
This mountainous district is famous for its unsploit natural beauty and local people have led a peaceful life for generations.
