The Celebrity Millennium carrying 2,200 foreign passengers called the port of Hon Gai in Ha Long city this morning.
It is the first time Celebrity Millennium has been to Ha Long city in this year’s cruise season.
According to the Saigontourist Travel Services Co., right after arriving Ha Long, visitors will be taken to tourist attractions such as Ha Long city, Yen Tu heritage site, the capital of Hanoi and the city of Haiphong. They will have a chance to enjoy traditional cultural performances and cuisine in these places as well.
As scheduled, the cruise will leave the Hon Gai Floating Port at 1pm on November 13 to continue its journey to Hue and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
The Celebrity Millennium was put into operation in 2000 and refurbished in April, 2013 by US-based Royal Caribbean Cruise Company. This 91,000-ton ship is 294 meters long and 32 meters wide and can accommodate over 2,100 passengers and nearly 1,000 crewmembers.
