Vietnam Fine Arts Association in coordination with Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee opened the 24th Red River Delta Region Fine Arts Exhibition, 2019, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Bac Ninh Province, on Aug 21.
The exhibition showcased 213 fine art works of 195 authors from 9 provinces and cities including Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Hung Yen. The fine art works displayed at the event deeply reflect culture, land and people of the Red River Delta region.
22 fine art works of Quang Ninh Province were selected to go on display. Especially, 4 fine art works from the artists of Le Hai Thanh, Nguyen Sy Chuyen, Ha Quy Phong, Dinh Cong Tuyen were granted the Certificates of Merit by Vietnam Fine Arts Association and were introduced to attend the contest launched by the Union of Vietnam Fine Arts Associations.
At the exhibition, the organizing board presented one A prize, one B prize, one C prize and 6 consolation prizes to the winning artists. The exhibition will run until Aug 30.
The 25th Red River Delta Region Fine Arts Exhibition, 2020, will be held in Quang Ninh Province.
