On July 30th, at Sa Vi border information popularisation complex in Mong Cai City, Vietnam Border Defence Force Command and Vietnamese Military Youth Committee organized Youth with seas and island Day 2020.
Youth with sea and island Day 2020 aims at increasing Youth union members and locals’ awareness of the Party’s guidelines and government’s policies on border, seas, and islands, the sense of national sovereignty protection, love for the homeland, and responsibility of environmental protection.
At the event, 90 gift sets, worth of 90 million VND, were offered to 50 disadvantaged but excellent pupils in the locality. Besides, pictures of Uncle Ho, flags, and life-jackets were given to fishermen. Locals also signed commitments on environmental protection and cleaned up Tra Co beach.
