Yen Tu Spring Festival attracts crowds

Thousands of people are flocking to the Yen Tu Spring Festival, the largest annual festival in northern Vietnam, which began on January 31 in Uong Bi city.

The festival is considered one of the largest pilgrimage events in Vietnam.

The festival opened with a procession ritual.
The ceremony to pray for peace and prosperity for the country and its people.

Thousands make pilgrimage to Yen Tu Mountain.
The event also included a variety of cultural and sports activities.

Festival organizers reported that the three-month festival is expected to welcome over one million pilgrims and visitors.
