Tourists visiting Yen Tu historic relic site in Quang Ninh Province will be charged VND40,000 (US$1.8) applied to adults and VND20,000 ($0.9) to children. The fees were approved by the Provincial People’s Committee of Quang Ninh at 7th session on 11-12 Dec.
Fee waivers and discounts will be applied to children under 1.2 m or under 7 years old, people with disabilities, Buddhist monks and nuns, Buddhist delegates…in accordance with the Government’s regulations.
Over the years, provincial budget spent a large amount for restoration, conservation and improvement of the infrastructure of the Yen Tu historical relic and national park. Therefore, the fee collection will greatly contribute to conservation of this important relic.
The fee will come into effect from January 1, 2018.
