On Nov. 21 in Ha Long city, a workshop was held by the Department of Investment and Planning of Quang Ninh province to share experiences in the environmental protection and introduce advanced technologies from Japan.
The workshop is a part of the project namely “Promoting green growth in the area of Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh province” sponsored by JICA (Japan). It is also the first action that has been undertaken since the MoU on economic and environment development cooperation signed in October, 2017 between Quang Ninh (Vietnam) and Shiga (Japan).
At the workshop, representatives of 4 Japanese enterprises, including Chodai Co., Ltd; Kobelco Eco-Solutions Co.,Ltd.;,Sekisui Chemical Co.,Ltd, and Vantech Co., Ltd shared their experiences and solutions to the environmental protection, which were successfully applied in Japan’s Shiga province.
They also introduced the advanced technologies in the environmental protection which are appopriate for Quang Ninh, such as the Bio-Toilet technology; clean water treatment technologies for Domestic Water Supply Plants, and Waste Water treatmen technologies for urban areas, etc.
Also at the worshop, the repesentative of Quang Ninh Department of Investment and Planing highly appreciated the experiences and advanced techonologies in the environmental protection shared by the Japanes bussinesses. He wished that Japan would continue their cooperation with Quang Ninh in successfully applying these technologies in protecting the environment of Quang Ninh in general, and Ha Long Bay in particular.
