A workshop on connection cooperation in promoting the development of Tra Co, the first national tourism site in Vietnam’s Quang Ninh with Fángchénggǎng border tourism pilot site in China’s Guangxi province was held on June 18 in Mong Cai city.
During the workshop, the delegates of both sides have discussed and proposed appropriate policies, as well as practical and effective measures to develop Tra Co National Tourism Site into a vital attraction in both domestic and international tourism routes in connection with Fángchénggǎng pilot border tourism site.
In addition, the delegates proposed to enhance the cooperation in investment and development of tourism products and services to serve tourists, supporting enterprises to intensify tourism activities via the Mong Cai - Dongxing border gates, as well as strongly improving administrative and immigration procedures with the aim of creating a legal corridor for the development of both sides’ tourism sites.
