On the last night of 2011, Bai Chay - tourism center of Ha Long city was very exciting with a number of interesting activities happening at hotels, restaurants and recreation centers to welcome the new year of 2012 and to dispel cold winter.
All streets in Bai Chay tourism area are beautifully decorated with colourful lights. Hotels are full of red colour, pretty music and songs to welcome new year. International tourists were attracted by delicious buffet parties, popular international songs especially folkloric dances and traditional costume performances. They had an impressive new year away from home.
Mr. Le Huu Duc, General director of Saigon-Ha Long hotel, one of the organizers hosting parties to welcome the New Year said , all programs were organised to gratefully thank customers, creating a warm and happy atmosphere so that visitors could feel a real new year.
