According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), at the Asean Tourism Forum 2018 (ATF) to be held from January 22-26 in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Quang Ninh’s Vinpearl Ha Long will be one of the five hotels of Vietnam to receive the award of the 2018 MICE ASEAN venue.
This is the ASEAN's noble title that not only honours and fosters the hotel’s brandname, hi-quality tourism products and services in the region but also helps to promote the quality of Vietnam’s tourism and boost the brandname of Vietnam national tourism (Vietnam- Timeless Charm).
Located on an area of 47,000 m2 on Reu island in Ha Long Bay, one of the world’s natural heritages recognised by UNESCO, Vinpearl Ha Long hotel resort was invested with the total capital of VND1.2 trillion (USD53 million). It has a five-star nine-storey hotel with 384 rooms and clusters of restaurants and a convention centre, entertainment facilities, bars, swimming pools and beaches.
The Vinpearl Ha Long is the first and biggest five-star marine resort in the north of Vietnam. It opened in late October, 2015.
