On Dec. 12, at Hong Van Trade Center (Mong Cai city), an opening ceremony was jointly held by Mong Cai City People’s Committee and Dongxing Town People’s Committee to kick off the Vietnam-China Trade and Tourism Fair 2013. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Tuan Anh- Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry; Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh-Vice Chairman of QNPPC as well as leaders of relevant provincial departments. There was also the presence of Mr. Lan Tianli- Vice Chairman of Zhuang Autonomous Region of the Guangxi Provincial People’s Committee.
The Vietnam- China Trade and Tourism Fair is an alternatively annual event. The fair this year has attracted the participation of over 400 goods stores of 230 enterprises, provinces and organizations from 30 localities of the two countries. Goods displayed at the Fair are mainly electronics, pottery, forestry-agro and maritime products.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh- head of the Fair Organizing Board said that the Vietnam-China Trade and Tourism Fair 2013 is a good chance for all the enterprises from the two sides to exchange, cooperate with each other and boost the promotion of trade, tourism and services. It is expected that the Fair’s success would be a great contribution to enhance the friendship and cooperation relationship between Vietnam and China.
As planned, there will be a wide range of activities taken place during the Fair, such as a trade development promotion of Vietnam-China border forum, a singing festival on Bac Luan river and a friendship sport tournament. The Vietnam-China Trade and Tourism Fair 2013 wraps up on Dec. 18.
