At Sun World Ha Long Complex in Ha Long city, 245 artistic photos by 192 photographers throughout the country are displayed at the Vietnam Art Photo Exhibition 2018 opened on Oct. 30.
The biennial event is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Photographic Artists, and the Tourism department of Quang Ninh province.
The event is a good occasion to review and assess the achievements of Vietnamese photographers in the last two years and introduce outstanding art photos by Vietnamese photographers to the world.
With the topic "Ha Long – Quang Ninh – From New Angles", as well as pictures on any subject, after nearly three months, the organizing board has received more than 10,000 single photos and photo sets by over 1,436 professional and amateur photographers. The photos feature all fields of the daily life, as well as the construction and protection of the country.
The organisers gave 2 gold medals, 4 silver, 6 bronze and 10 consolation prizes to 22 oustanding photos.
In this exhibition, there are two photos listed in the free topic on Vietnam by Quang Ninh’s photographers, namely Can Dinh Loan and Do Khanh Giang; and 18 photos by 9 others photographers of Quang Ninh under the topic of “Ha Long – Quang Ninh – From New Angle”.
The exhibition highlighting a series of cultural activities in the National Tourism Year 2018 – Ha Long- Quang Ninh will run till Nov. 8.
