On Jul. 23, Vice Chairwoman of QNPPC Vu Thi Thu Thuy had a coutersy meeting with the US Culture Commissioner in Vietnam, Mr. Terry White, on the ocassion of his visit to Quang Ninh to grant English study scholarship to the best students within the province.
The Vice Chairwoman highly appreciated the US Embassy in Vietnam for its concerns and support Quang Ninh in Education and training, particularly in foreign language training.
Thuy stressed that Quang Ninh is focusing on raising the quality of human resource. Intensifying skills of foreign languages is one of the most vital conditions for the province to integrate to the world and developing tourism. The Vice Chairwoman of QNPPC hoped that the two sides would have more cooperation programs in education and traning in the future.
For his part, Mr. Terry White sincerely thanked Quang Ninh's leaders for their warm reception. He said that he was very happy to contribute to the growth and education development of Quang Ninh. He beleved that the exchange between the two sides would help promote the mutual trade relationship in an effective way.
