On May 9, Mr. Dang Huy Hau, Vice-Chairman of QNPPC and representatives from relevant departments and sectors undertook an inspection of the environmental protection activities at some coal factories within Cam Pha city, including Waste water treatment station; Coc Sau Coal SJC; Deo Nai Coal SJC and Khe Sim MTV Co., Ltd (under Dong Bac Company).
At these locations, Mr. Vu Huy Hau listened to the reports from leaders of these companies on the renovation, restoration, and protection of environment, including planting green trees at dumping areas; industrial waste water treatment; the construction of the storage of coal to reduce environmental pollution…
Mr. Dang Huy Hau highly appreciated the efforts of those companies in environmental protection. He stressed that despite of difficult working conditions, they need to attach importance to production in order to stabilize the workers’ life, especially put working safety on the top and pay more attention to environmental protection.
