On April 17, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Doc led an inspection team to check the construction progress of the key projects which are being implemented in Van Don island district.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee directly inspected the construction progress of the main road from Van Don International Airport to the high-class integrated resort in Van Yen commune and the main road of the Cai Rong urban area.
After the inspection of this road and listening to the contractors and investors’ report on the project’s progress, Secretary Nguyen Van Doc directed Quang Ninh Transport Department to urge the contractors to set up the deadline of completion and speed up the construction progress of this important project.
“The contractors need to pay much attention to ensure the best quality of all the project’s components. Particularly, the sloperooft eboulement and roadbeds must be timely solved in accordance with the expressway standards”, said the Secretary.
Regarding the main road of the Cai Rong urban area, Secretary Nguyen Van Doc asked provincial functional authorities to direct the contractors to implement the whole road. He also agreed on the proposal of Phuong Dong urban residential area’s investor to build a public beach to meet the tourists and locals’ demand.
In addition, he requested Van Don district to intensify management of natural resources, land, planning and construction, and take measures to control the real state issues.
