In the joyful atmosphere of the first day of 2020, Van Don International Airport received the first caller of the year, the VJ 230 flight.
The Vietjet Air’s VJ 230 flight transported 141 passengers from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Van Don International Airport. The aircraft then carried 125 passengers on the vice-verse route.
Also on the first day of 2020, Van Don International Airport welcomed Da Nang – Van Don flight and vice-verse flight operated by Vietnam Airlines.
Van Don International Airport operates 2 domestic routes, namely Van Don – Da Nang and Van Don – Ho Chi Minh City, and 5 international routes to Hunan, Shenzhen (China), Incheon (South Korea), and Narita, Osaka (Japan).
After one year of operation, the airport has received more than 2,000 flights bringing more than 258,000 passenger arrivals, including nearly 11,000 international arrivals.
