Van Don International Airport receives 56 Vietnamese citizens back from Ukraine

At 8am on Mar 30th, the fight VN9062 from Kiev (Ukraine) landed at Van Don International Airport (Quang Ninh) carrying 56 Vietnamese citizens back home.

The plane landed at a separate location at the airport. Earlier, the wide-bodied Airbus A350 transported Ukraine’s people from Vietnam to their hometown for free then took Vietnamese citizens back home

To implement the Prime Minister’s requirement, Van Don International Airport is chosen as one of receiver of abnormal flights from Covid-19 hit areas. To date, 4,000 Vietnamese citizens returned from abroad on 28 flights at Van Don International Airport.
