On Apr. 29, Van Don International Airport received two flights from South Korea bringing 340 experts and technicians who are working for South Korean enterprises in Vietnam. These passengers were received in compliance with special process to prevent Covid-19 infection.
Passengers on board must have health certificates confirming they are not positive to SARS-CoV-2 virus, granted by South Korean authorized agencies and approved by Vietnam. They are also required tofollowed all preventive measures against Covid-19 during the flights.
Among 230 passengers, there were Mr. Park Noh Wan, South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam and Mr. Do Nhat Hoang Director General, Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
These are the 8th and 9th flights bringing experts and technicians from South Korea to Vietnam in line with agreements between the two countries. Since Mar. 1, Van Don International Airport received 38 flight bringing nearly 6,000 passengers from disease-hit areas all over the world. After social distance easing order, the airport will resume commercial flights from May 4.
