According to the news released from Uong Bi City People’s Committee, in the past six months, the city has received about 1.85 million tourist arrivals with the total revenue of 392. 8 billion, of which the number of tourists visiting Yen Tu relic reached 1.7 million arrivals, up 16.8% in comparison to the same period last year.
To gain such encouraging achievement, Uong Bi City People’s Committee has steered functional sectors to well prepared and organized a wide range of festivals such as Ba Vang, Hang Son pagodas or Dien Cong temple... Especially, a solemn ceremony was held to receive the Special National Relic certificate during the opening of Yen Tu festival, one of the biggest festivals in the north of Vietnam.
