On April 22, in Ha Long city, the Quang Ninh Department of Culture and Sports Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre jointly held a ceremony to announce the decision on recognising two national treasures and open an archaeological exhibition.
The two national treasures are Dau Ram pottery vase from Phung Nguyen (2000 – 1500 BC) cultural epoch, dating back 3,000 - 3,400 years ago and a Ngoa Van - Yen Tu golden box dating from the fourteenth century from Quang Ninh. The national treasures were recognised by the Prime Minister in December, 2018 along with 20 other artifacts across the country. The two treasures featuring cultural and historical values are currently on display at Quang Ninh Museum.
On the occasion, Quang Ninh Museum also organised an exhibition displaying 100 photos, documents, artifacts and images of relics found at ancient excavations at Thang Long imperial citadel, as well as a system of relics related to the Tran Dynasty and Truc Lam Yen Tu in Quang Ninh.
The exhibition runs until May 30.
